Blessons for Women is providing free handmade cloth masks to our community of women and their families including healthcare, first responders and to the City of Chicago "City Wide Cloth Mask Drive" aimed at providing homeless shelters and community health clinics with more coronavirus protection.
Please be patient with us, as we are a small group of individuals making these from our homes. If you have any questions regarding the status of your cloth mask request submission, please email info@blessons.org.

Blessons for Women is providing free homemade cloth masks during the Covid-19 pandemic to women and their families who don’t have the resources in providing masks themselves. At this time, we are only serving those who reside in Chicago.
Please submit one request for each individual in your household and be mindful of others who may need our masks as well. Please review your number of requests before submission. No more than 5 masks per household request.

If you are a woman experiencing financial hardship due to the pandemic, please complete the form below to request FREE handmade cloth masks. Please request only 1 mask per individual living in your household. The maximum number is 5 free masks per household.
HEALTHCARE & FIRST RESPONDERS
If you work in a hospital, nursing home, doctor’s office, pharmacy or any emergency personnel/ business in Chicago or surrounding areas, that is remaining open and is need of handmade sewn cloth masks, please fill out this form.

Disclaimer
Due to recent coronavirus virus across the world, we have been donating masks ONLY to organizations and individuals who are requesting them from Blessons for Women and Masks 4 Chicago. This face mask is not meant to replace the surgical face mask, it is a contingency plan for those who have no availability to surgical masks. Proper use of a surgical mask is still the best way to prevent virus infection. Homemade masks can help you to not spread the virus and is meant to be washed frequently when used in public.

Mental health wellness clinics are now offered through Zoom every Friday.
Virtual Mental Health Wellness Clinics & Workshops
During this pandemic, we are providing workshops and mental health wellness clinics that are focused on providing resources to women during this traumatic experience. We have an overwhelming amount of women in our community who seek help in managing stress, depression and anxiety caused by Covid-19. Our Blessons Women’s Circle is now every Friday and online for everyone's safety. Our free workshops and mental health wellness clinics are now offered through Zoom, a video conferencing application. This tool can easily be accessed through a mobile device, tablet, laptop and/or computer.

Scholarships for Women
You must be 25 years or older AND securing an associates degree, certificate and/or licensing completion towards a skilled trade
Advancing Women Economically
Due to the alarming amount of women who have lost their jobs due to Covid-19 and those who have families that depend on them financially, we have added, “those experiencing financial hardship due to Covid-19” to the eligibility requirements of the Blessons Scholarship Program.
Blessons for Women provides up to a $1,000 scholarship for women who have had their continuing education placed on hold due to challenging life lessons. The awards are created to support women who are 25 years or older AND securing an associates degree, certificate and/or licensing completion towards a skilled trade. Those who require fullment of Continuing Education units/credits to maintain an active license/certification are also eligible to apply.
