With a variety of exciting volunteer positions available, there is a job for everyone, including individuals, teams, school groups, corporate groups, friends and family. Many of the events below provides an additional funding opportunity for our charity for every volunteer that registers under our charity volunteer group per event.
Blessons for Women free services would not be possible without the help of all our amazing volunteers, so come out and join the fun!! No experience is required.

2019 Bank of America Chicago Marathon Aid Station 09 Volunteers
DATE: 10/13/2019
SHIFT: 5:30am to 12:30pm
LOCATION: Aid Station #09 located on the corner of Wells St. Btwn Grand Ave and Hubbard st. It is Mile 11.8 of the Chicago Marathon course.
We welcome all genders, sexualitites and STUDENTS 16 years and older to volunteer!
2019 Uno 5k - la carrera de los muertos Beer tent
Celebrate the Day of the Dead by volunteering with Blessons at the beer tent! We welcome all genders and volunteers 21 years and older to volunteer!
Project details:
Volunteers play an active role in pouring and serving beer to over 3,000 Uno 5k runners after they cross the finish line. All tips benefit our mission in providing scholarships to women who have had their higher education put on hold due to challenging life lessons including; cancer, mental illness, abuse or who are first generation immigrants. Music, food, and beverages are provided to all volunteers who contribute their energy and time!

SPRING/SUMMER 2019 Internship opportunities available
We are always looking for motivated and passionate students and/or career oriented individuals to help us out in our Chicago office. We have a wide variety of volunteer and internship opportunities. We welcome all genders and interns 18 years and older to apply!
Our programs - The Her Blessons Project; Outreach, Workshops/Event planning and "What's Your Blessons Story".
Social Media & Communication- Opportunities including; FB, IG, Snapchat, Twitter, YouTube, blogging, newsletters.
Giving Programs Support- Assist in research and development of giving programs including providing support as an editor, reviewing documents, grant writing and proposals.
Development Support- Assist in ongoing development and managing of our Blessons Community calendars including; events, socials, hosted fundraisers and Team Blessons events.
These opportunities are great for those who are looking to volunteer to further their education and careers.

Demand for Blessons Scholarship Awards are growing! We are looking for engaged, energetic, passionate, and dedicated volunteers to help us increase our ability to accomplish our mission and vision. Here are the goals and objectives: generate greater awareness of Blessons for Women and services offered via outreach through colleges, universities, medical centers including mental health, fellow non-profit organizations and corporations; represent Blessons as an official liaison at colleges, universities, meetings, and speaking engagements.
We are looking for professional, passionate leaders with exceptional communication skills. Ambassadors will be forming partnerships with colleges, universities, corporations, and local leaders. You think you have what it takes?
